Moortec are delighted to announce that they were the winners of the prestigious Emerging Technology Company category at the recent Techworks Awards which took place at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in London.

The award was accepted by Moortec CEO Stephen Crosher and VP of Marketing Ramsay Allen.

The category honours a growing company showing excellent progress and demonstrating impressive growth in areas such as revenue, headcount, innovation, investment and/or market traction as success indicators. The awards celebrate the year’s key electronics innovations, people and companies from across the UK and Ireland. The TechWorks Awards have run annually since 2001 – originally branded as the NMI Awards.

To qualify, the company had to be seen to be emerging in the technology space and making a noteworthy change in business model or direction in pursuit of growth ambitions. Moortec were also able to demonstrate exceptional growth which has helped the UK to be seen as a global technology leader.

The award was presented by the renowned Journalist John Sergeant, who highlighted the category’s close race and said the company’s vision is a key factor in winning, stating: “Moortec has a strong vision to become the market leading IP vendor for in-chip monitoring, optimisation and analytics technologies and services.”
