UltraSoC CEO Rupert Baines has put together an interesting blog article which talks about ensuring SoC reliability via on-chip analytics and monitoring. The article follows on from the recent announcement that Moortec and UltraSoC are collaborating to enable next-generation “smart” PVT sensors.

Today’s devices are complex quasi-analog systems. Performance can vary greatly from chip-to-chip.
