Moortec Win Contract to Supply a High Performance Crystal Oscillator for Wireless SoC

Plymouth, UK - 5th November 2007 - Moortec win a contract to supply an accurate, high frequency, digitally trimmable crystal oscillator for a wireless SoC design. Operating at 33MHz and targeting a 0.18um BiCMOS process, the oscillator will be factory trimmed to sub-ppm accuracy. Designed with low phase noise performance in mind, the Pierce-type oscillator will be incorporated into an Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless application.
