Moortec Delivers High Performance Tuner PLL

Plymouth, UK - 2nd Nov 2008 - Moortec have delivered a high performance PLL design to a major customer for use on the 0.18um Jazz process. It provides a very low distortion phase detector & programmable charge pump to ensure high performance fractional-N synthesis from 50MHz to 1500MHz local-oscillator rates from a 25MHz reference. The use of a programmable third-order loop filter (mostly on-chip) provides a high degree of suppression of synthesis and reference components.

Moortec, established in 2005, provides high quality analogue and mixed-signal cells for system on chip (SoC) semiconductor devices, thereby enabling quick and efficient time to market for customers.
