Moortec Shortlisted for 3 Techworks Awards
Moortec are proud to be finalists at the forthcoming Techworks Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner which is taking place this Thursday 23rd November at the Intercontinental Hotel in London.
Moortec have been nominated for the following three awards:
The Emerging Technology Company of the Year Award
This award honours a growing company showing excellent progress – demonstrating impressive growth in areas such as revenue, headcount, innovation, investment and/or market traction as success indicators.
Moortec are the only company dedicated to providing highly accurate, highly featured in-chip monitoring IP targeting advanced node CMOS technology from 40nm down to 7nm. Moortec continues to accelerate its engineering efforts in terms of its advanced node roadmap helping to cement its position as a trusted global IP Vendor.
The More than Moore Award
More-than-Moore technologies cover a wide range of fields. For example, MEMS applications include sensors, actuators and ink jet printers. RF CMOS applications include Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. CMOS image sensors are found in most digital cameras. High voltage drivers are used to power LED lights. This award is sponsored by Cadence.
Moortec continue to push the limits for cutting edge advanced node design and have recently announced the availability of our easy to integrate, embedded subsystem on 7nm.
The Product of the Year Award
In today’s intensely competitive markets for electronics products, it is absolutely essential that new products enable exciting capabilities within a tight window of market opportunity while meeting exceptionally high quality and reliability standards. This award is sponsored by Maser Engineering.
Moortec’s easy to integrate, embedded monitoring subsystem which includes a high precision low power junction temperature sensor, process monitor and voltage monitor allows advanced node semiconductor Design Engineers to optimise the performance and reliability of their SoC designs. The subsystem also includes the sophisticated Process, Voltage and Temperature (PVT) Controller with AMBA APB interfacing, which supports multiple monitor instances, statistics gathering, a production test access port as well as other compelling features.
Moortec also submitted an entry for the Company of the Year Award. The shortlist for this award is announced on the night. This award is made to a company of special recognition operating in the UK. It is an honour presented by TechWorks to a commercial organisation which stands out for good reason. This award is sponsored by IC Resources.
Moortec are a great example of a UK Semiconductor success story. The company has risen from local Design Services company to Global IP Vendor in a very short space of time. Last year Moortec doubled their revenue and are on track to have a similar increase this year and offer a compelling range of embedded in-chip monitoring subsystem solutions on 40nm down to 7nm.
The Moortec team are excited to attend the event and look forward to meeting some familiar faces. We would also like to wish all the finalists the best of luck!
Established in 2005, Moortec (Plymouth, UK) provides compelling embedded subsystem IP solutions for Process, Voltage & Temperature (PVT) monitoring, targeting advanced node CMOS technologies from 40nm down to 7nm. Moortec’s in-chip sensing solutions support the semiconductor design community’s demands for increased device reliability and enhanced performance optimization, enabling schemes such as DVFS, AVS and power management control systems. Moortec provides excellent support for IP application, integration and device test during production.
